Why Become a Member?

 We all have a natural tendency to put off thinking about our own death. We also forget that our survivors, our closest kin, at that moment or the next day will be called upon to make arrangements. At that time, they are often incapable of making rational decisions, or major decisions that concern large sums of cash expenditures.

Membership in Telophase is pre-need planning at its best.

It is a commonly accepted fact that everyone should have a legal will prepared by an attorney who is familiar with the laws of your state. This is done to direct the transfer of our assets to those persons whom we love and whose continuing needs are of concern to us. This is also done to prevent a needless drain on the monetary funds accumulated after a life-time of toil and taxes. Unfortunately, few legal wills are opened or read until after the funeral is over and the body has been put to rest. This is not a problem for Telophase members. The Society’s pre-signed membership forms are immediately available and they are legally binding insofar as our cremation services are concerned.
