Directions for Orion Sailing Charters

From the Interstate 5 Freeway:

• Take the Sassafrass-Airport exit. Continue on to North Harbor Island.
• Drive (parallel to the airport). Turn left onto Harbor Island Drive.
• Turn right into the Sheraton San Diego Hotel and Marina.
• Turn into the Hotel Guest Parking Lot.

Directions for Tunaman’s Memorial

• Located southwest and of island, facing bay.
• Large bronze sculpture and granite marker.

Driving Directions:

• From the North I-5 or I-805, head south to I-8 West.
• Exit Rosecrans St. and head south to Shelter Island Dr., turn left.
• Follow all the way to the end and veer right.
• Go approximately 1 ½ miles to Shelter Island Fishing Pier, turn left into the driveway & park there.
• Just to the west of the pier you will see a bronze statue of 3 fishermen, this is where you will see the boat heading out to sea.

Our boat will come as close to shore as possible, the crew will wave to the families & head out to sea.

The boat will be there between 11:45-12:00 (noon).
